Picked up a for legged friend on the way but he soon got distracted by some fluttering in a hedge and vanished from sight.
Spotted some amazingly coloured Fungus it was quite luminous in the sunshine.
On top of Blackford Hill I took a few shots of the Craighouse Campus before it becomes covered in expensive houses.
Also on the hills was a Wheatear a female I think. She stopped off for a meal on her way to spend the winter in Africa.
Always a great view and on a sunny day you can't beat it.
Down at Blackford Pond a Coot was admiring his reflection in the water and chatting away to himself .
Meanwhile a juvenile Little Grebe was perfecting its fishing technique with great success.
